“OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Fundamentals” is an intensive training designed to provide participants with practical knowledge of the Hierarchy of Controls, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), evacuation procedures, and fire prevention. The program is based on applicable OSHA requirements and workplace safety best practices.

• Identification of common workplace hazards.

2. Workplace Hazards and Risk Control
• Fall, ergonomic, and electrical hazards;
• Hierarchy of Controls;
• Key principles of risk reduction.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Types of PPE and proper use;
• Training requirements related to PPE use;
• Basic principles of PPE selection, use, and maintenance.

4. Emergency Preparedness and Fire Safety
• Emergency Action Plan (EAP);
• Basic evacuation procedures and requirements;
• Fire Prevention Plan (FPP);
• Workplace hazards that may cause fires;
• Key fire prevention training requirements;
• Portable and fixed fire protection systems and their purposes.
