Healthcare - Biological Hazards
Healthcare workers are routinely exposed to a variety of infectious agents during the course of their daily activities. Without effective prevention and infection control measures, biological hazards can pose serious risks to both healthcare personnel and patients, leading to occupational illnesses and the spread of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
This intensive theoretical and practical Healthcare Biological Hazards training is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of three major biological hazards in healthcare settings: Legionellosis, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and Tuberculosis (TB). The program covers the causes, modes of transmission, symptoms, prevention strategies, and infection control measures necessary to reduce occupational exposure and maintain a safe healthcare environment.
