Healthcare Pharmacy Safety

Healthcare – Pharmacy Safety is a specialized certificate training program focused on the fundamental principles of employee safety when working with hazardous drugs and chemical agents in pharmaceutical and healthcare environments. Particular attention is given to hazardous drugs used in cancer treatment, certain antiviral therapies, as well as hormonal and bioengineered medications.

The training introduces participants to potential health risks associated with exposure to hazardous drugs, exposure control programs, safe handling and work practices, and the proper selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
