3. Asbestos Sources and Risk Assessment
- Potential locations and materials containing asbestos in healthcare facilities;
- Basic principles for identifying asbestos-containing materials;
- Potential exposure scenarios in healthcare facilities;
- Assessment of occupational risks associated with asbestos.
4. Exposure Prevention and Control
- Methods for preventing and reducing asbestos exposure;
- Safe work practices in environments where asbestos may be present;
- Engineering and administrative control measures;
- Basic principles for selecting and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
- Safety measures during maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure work.
